500 Micron Solar Blankets
The ultimate heating solution for Gauteng pools.
Raise water temp by 8°C, stop evaporation, and keep your pool crystal clear.
Why choose a Solar Blanket?
In Gauteng, we have high evaporation rates and cool nights. A 500-micron solar blanket (often called a "bubble cover") is the most effective way to tackle both problems at once.
1. Free Heating from the Sun
The GeoBubble™ cells act like magnifying glasses, transferring solar energy directly into the water. By covering the pool at night, you trap that heat in, often raising temperatures by 6–8°C compared to an uncovered pool.
2. Stop Water Loss
Evaporation is the biggest water waster. Our blankets stop 98% of evaporation, saving you thousands of liters of water per year and reducing your chemical usage significantly.
💰 Pricing & Quoting Guide
Customers often ask "How much is a cover?" Because every pool is different, we quote based on square meterage. Here is how it works:
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I leave it in the sun when off the pool?
No. You must cover it with the provided UV protection sheet. The bubbles act as lenses and can overheat/delaminate if left exposed on the lawn or paving.
Is it child safe?
No. A solar blanket is NOT a safety cover. It floats on the water. For safety, please view our Safety Nets or PVC Covers.
